Yvette Howard, LCSW

CEO / Founder

As a clinical therapist, she has experience in assisting clients age 3-92 years old to include families. She also has experience in working with those who suffer from medical depression, major depressive disorder, PTSD, anxiety, substance abuse, ADHD and behavioral issues with children. Through Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Yvette specializes in helping individuals with chronic medical conditions and pain leading to depressive symptoms. She has also received training in many other approaches to assist with various life challenges. Her therapy style is compassionate and empathic with a sense of humor. She enjoys discovering "what works" for clients, and provides a steady, healing presence during hard times. Yvette deeply values the relationship created in therapy and offers a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where you'll be accepted and welcomed just as you are. The work accomplished together will enhance your natural curiosity and creativity, and support you on a journey to increased self-awareness, confidence, personal growth and fulfillment.

Wanda White, CPC-I

Clinical Professional Counselor, Intern

Wanda White is a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern who works with children, adolescents, individuals and families. She has a rich history of service to foster children, women escaping sex trafficking, and children and families with HIV/AIDS. 

She strongly believes that all people need support and tools to help them through this journey called life. Together with Wanda, you can become a healthier version of yourself. 

Wanda uses tools including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT and EMDR. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and assists clients in healing from painful and traumatic memories. 

She provides Christian based counseling to those who request it. Striving to provide you with a safe and comfortable environment, Wanda wants you to feel free to be yourself. Her goal is to help empower you and provide you with tools to enjoy a richer life experience.

Gorpu David, CPC-I

Clinical Professional Counselor, Intern

Gorpu is a Clinical Professional Counselor- Intern. She Completed her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Northern Iowa. She earned a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Mental Health. She has experience working with individuals ranging from 12 to 70 years of age experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, seasonal disorder, trauma, porn addition, sex therapy, infidelity, separation anxiety, etc. Gorpu is committed to providing a safe space for all individuals from different backgrounds, experiencing personal issues, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, work/school concerns, etc. 

Gorpu makes every effort to provide a warm, empathetic, genuine, and trusting environment that allows you to feel comfortable and supported to tackle presenting challenges. She understands that the process of change solemnly relies on you, as the client. Gorpu’s hope is that you are able to reach your full potential by exploring personal growth, finding a meaning and purpose, and enhancing your overall quality of life.

Coren Warren, CSW-I

Clinical Social Work, Intern

Coren Warren is a Clinical Social Work Intern who works with individuals ranging from 17 to 85 years of age. For the past 20 years, Coren has been a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has assisted individuals struggling with addictions and co-dependency. Coren has specialized in helping individuals who struggle with depression, trauma, STI’s and are dually diagnosed. She also can assist those who are battling stressors consisting of life issues.

Coren strongly believes in helping others find their true path in life. It is not about what is right but what works best to meet your goals and visions. She assists clients in developing a plan to achieve their vision.

Coren uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. She also uses treatments that benefit the individual and help overcome and heal from barriers that have been a constant issue in their lives.

Coren looks forward to developing a trusting environment where you can grow and feel safe to try new tools to better yourself and your life.

Luis Ortega, CPC-I 

Clinical Professional Counselor, Intern

Luis graduated from UNLV with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Higher Education. He has 19 years of experience working in higher education with students of different backgrounds who are academically underperforming. He also has experience working with individuals who has suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, drug, alcohol, and gambling addictions. In addition, Luis has played Soccer at a competitive level, and he enjoys working with children and adolescents who are suffering from sport traumas and building their self-esteem to perform at their highest level. Luis is genuine, empathetic, and solution focused. During his sessions, he uses approaches aligned with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused, and client centered. His mantra is “we can all succeed and prosper if we are willing to put the work to reach our goals.”

Luis se graduó de la University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) con una Maestría en Consejería Clínica en Salud Mental. Actualmente está completando su doctorado en Psicología Educativa y Educación Superior. Tiene 19 años de experiencia trabajando en educación superior con estudiantes de diferentes orígenes que tienen un bajo rendimiento académico. También tiene experiencia trabajando con personas que han sufrido trastorno de estrés postraumático, ansiedad, depresión, adicciones a las drogas, al alcohol y al juego. Además, Luis ha jugado fútbol a nivel competitivo y disfruta trabajar con niños y adolescentes que sufren traumas deportivos y desarrollar su autoestima para rendir al máximo nivel. Luis es genuino, empático y enfocado en la solución. Durante sus sesiones, utiliza enfoques alineados con la Terapia Cognitiva Conductual, centrados en la solución y centrados en el cliente. Su mantra es "Todos podemos tener éxito y prosperar si estamos dispuestos a trabajar para nuestras metas.”

Camille Owens, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

As a former classroom teacher, Camille has a passion for working with youth. Her clinical experience includes serving clients, ages 4-21, and their families involved in the child welfare system. She has worked with children, adolescents, and young adults challenged by stress and anxiety, depression, trauma and/or abuse, relationship concerns, self-esteem, grief and loss, behavioral concerns and other life adjustments. Camille values the partnership with her clients (and their families) to determine their strengths and growing opportunities; as well as explore with clients how they can accomplish their goals through therapy. Camille’s attitude is very warm, creative, and collaborative. She encourages effective self-expression and self-soothing through various coping skills. She utilizes a combination of client-centered, mindfulness training and movement, and cognitive behavior therapy to assist her clients’ growth and development. In her personal and professional life, Camille is inspired by the metaphor of a budding flower; as we grow, bloom, and learn, we increase our confidence, wellness, and potential. Through a therapeutic relationship, Camille can help you bloom!

Jessica Halling, CSW-I

Clinical Social Worker, Intern

.Jessica Kay Halling is a Clinical Social Work Intern who works with individuals ranging from 13 to 75 years of age. Jessica received her masters degree in social work from the University of Southern California in 2015 and began her career as a social worker at Acelero Head Start. 

Jessica has an extensive background in helping woman and children recover from sex trafficking, exploitation and domestic violence. Jessica also has a background working in the foster care system. Jessica strives to connect with people on a fundamental level and believes that human connection is the most powerful healing agent we have. 

 Jessica believes that with courageous conversations, the right tools and the willingness to put in the work everyone can step into the best version of themselves. Jessica uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and solution-focused therapy. Jessica strives to create a brave space for individuals to grow, learn and heal.
